World’s largest meditation centre in Hyderabad gets new post office | Hyderabad News

HYDERABAD: Kanha Shantivanam, world’s largest meditation centre located in Ranga Reddy, now has a new sub post office, on its premises.
This meditation centre is located about 50 km away from the city and President of India, Ramnath Kovind inaugurated it on January 28, 2020.
On Friday, the postmaster general, Hyderabad region, PVS Reddy, inaugurated a new sub post office at Kanha Shantivanam. Capt Vineet Singh Ranawat, ashram manager, Kanha Shantivanam also attended the inauguration.
Speaking on the occasion PVS Reddy said that this sub post office will cater the logistic, banking and insurance needs of the people surrounding the village.
“The postal department is offering many volume based discounts to the bulk customers ranging from 5% to 30% based on the monthly business besides many value additions like free pickup, insurance, track & trace, dedicated MIS, SMS alerts and credit facilities,” said PVS Reddy.
“Customers can utilize the services of the post office for their logistic needs,” postmaster general, Reddy, made a plea.
Shantivanam is spread across 1,400 acres and the meditation centre occupies 30 acres and has become the world’s largest meditation centre. This meditation centre comprises a central hall and eight secondary halls, and accommodates over one lakh meditative practitioners at a time.
