Wild bear poaching gang arrested in Telangana | Hyderabad News
MAHABUBABAD: A 12-member poacher gang that killed a wild bear a week ago were arrested on Tuesday.
The incident took place Jangalapalli village in Gangaram mandal of Mahabubabad last Monday.
Owing to the Medaram Jatara officials the incident came to light late. Forest officials said, when the bear got in the trap, it died of electric shock as the trap was connected to a power source.
After taking the dead bear, poachers allegedly got into an altercation over distribution of the meat.
