Widow Kills Child & Jumps To Death | Hyderabad News
HYDERABAD: A widow killed her five-year-old daughter by throwing her into a lake and then jumped to her death in the water body in Sangareddy district allegedly over a failed affair.
Police said that after her husband died a few years ago, Padma (30) had got into a relationship with another man who had allegedly promised to marry her. But later he broke off with her saying he was marrying somebody else, police said.
Investigators suspect that this may have made her take the extreme step. On Thursday, she took her daughter to the lake, pushed her first and jumped into the lake. Bodies of both have been retrieved.
