Telangana: People in other states want chief minister like KCR, says minister KTR | Hyderabad News

HYDERABAD: People of different states want a similar chief minister like K Chandrasekhar Rao, said Telangana Municipal Administration & Urban Development, K Tarakarama Rao, who was also son of KCR on Thursday.
Minister KTR inaugurated 2-BHK Dignity Housing Scheme built on 5.18-acre government land at old Marredpally in Secunderabad Cantonment. The state government has spent Rs 350 crore on a total of 468 flats in 22 blocks and 2BHK houses.
KTR visited a few new f2BHK flats at newly constructed premises and then addressed a public meeting.
Speaking on the occasion, KTR said, “two hours before inaugurating this housing scheme, I uploaded a bunch of photos of newly built 2BHK flats on my Twitter account. Within a short period, people were responding from various parts of the Country and have replied to me that they want a similar chief minister like KCR, in their states, too.
Minister KTR also said that the chief minister, K Chandrasekhar Rao has made poor people “crorepatis” by launching “2-BHK Dignity Housing Scheme” in Telangana. Without taking a single rupee from the poor people, the TRS-led government is building 2.72 lakh 2BHK houses in the state and spending Rs 1,800 crore. Except Telangana government, no other state governments in the country, is spending crores of rupees for “2BHK Housing Scheme,” added KTR.
“Do not sell the flats to earn money. In fact, nobody will buy them either. Keep the premises clean and green, as the state government has invested huge money for the construction,” KTR advised the beneficiaries.
Secunderabad Cantonment TRS MLA, G Sayanna and other cabinet ministers, accompanied KTR in the programme.
