Telangana logs 1 Covid case, active tally at 45 | Hyderabad News
HYDERABAD: Telangana on Saturday recorded one new case of Covid-19, taking the total number of cases so far in the state to 8.41 lakh. The death toll so far is 4,111. No deaths were recorded on Saturday. So far a total of 8.37 lakh patients have recovered from the infection in the state with three new recoveries on Saturday.
The case fatality rate (CFR) a measure of infected patients succumbing to the virus is currently at 0.49 percent in the state. The recovery rate meanwhile is at 99.50 percent, remaining constant for over a fortnight now. There are 45 active cases in the state currently.
On Saturday a total of 3,527 samples were tested. Telangana has tested 3.83 crore samples so far since the pandemic and has reached 10.29 lakh samples testing per million population.
