Telangana: KT Rama Rao slams Center over LPG price hike | Hyderabad News

HYDERABAD: TRS working president KT Rama Rao alleged that the Centre’s failed economic policies are affecting the common people adversely, especially with the constant rise in the prices of LPG cylinders.
He said that the country was going through a difficult situation where the Centre is unable to control inflation.
KTR on Wednesday gave a call to the party cadre to protest against steep hike in LPG cylinder prices across the state.
“Under the BJP rule in the past eight years, the cooking gas prices have increased 170% in the country, creating a world record. With the recent increase of Rs 50, the country has seen a whopping Rs 244 increase on each gas cylinder this year alone,” he said.
KTR said When Modi became PM in 2014, the LPG cylinder price was just Rs 410. And now, it has increased threefold, with the present price being over Rs 1100. This is very unfortunate. This shows the inefficiency of the BJP government in the country, he said.
