Telangana govt ignoring people in Hyderabad’s slums: G Kishan Reddy | Hyderabad News
HYDERABAD: Union tourism minister G Kishan Reddy alleged that the state government is ignoring people living in the city’s slums.
Interacting with the media at an event on Sunday, he said that people in slums are suffering due to contaminated water and that the TRS government is spending a lot of money on real estate brochures and campaigns instead of resolving issues.
Stating that only flyovers will not help people in slums, Kishan Reddy questioned IT minister KT Rama Rao’s claim of the state government spending 83,000 crore on the city and asked where the funds have gone.
Meanwhile, the BJP camp is carefully monitoring the developments at Pragathi Bhavan even as poll strategist Prashanth Kishor met chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao. A senior BJP leader said that their guess that TRS and Congress will eventually have to work together may turn out true and PK will make that happen.
