Telangana: Dasoju Sravan set to join BJP today, flies to Delhi to meet Tarun Chugh | Hyderabad News

HYDERABAD: Dasoju Sravan, who quit the Congress on Friday, is likely to join the BJP on Sunday. Indicating that several leaders are ready to join the BJP, party incharge of Telangana Tarun Chugh welcomed Sravan and Munugode MLA Komatireddy Raj Gopal Reddy into the saffron party fold. “Ye sirf ek trailer hai, abhi puri film baaki hai (This is only a trailer, there is a lot to come),” said Chugh in Delhi on Saturday after Sravan met him.
“There is a long list of leaders who will be joining the BJP. Leaders and people of Telangana want to get rid of the corrupt TRS government. The people of Telangana are waiting to bless the saffron party with a huge majority. Sanjay’s padayatra has been reaching every village carrying the BP flag high,” Chugh said.
Responding to the allegations of Congress and TRS that BJP is luring leaders with contracts and money, Chugh said no one can raise a finger at Sravan. “The BJP is not in the government in Telangana to be able to award contracts.
It is the ideology of CM KCR to intimidate, threaten or lure with cash, contracts and projects. People are ready to say ‘goodbye KCR, goodbye TRS’,” Chugh said.
