Telangana CM K Chandrasekhar Rao now afraid to say ‘Jai Telangana’, claims Bandi Sanjay Kumar | Hyderabad News
HYDERABAD: Going hammer and tongs against chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao‘s speech at the BRS meeting in Khammam on Wednesday, BJP state chief Bandi Sanjay Kumar on Thursday claimed that the CM is now afraid to even utter ‘Jai Telangana’.
Addressing the media in Delhi, he said, “People will force him to say ‘Jai Telangana’ again. He has now completely abandoned this slogan. People had fought for statehood and he became chief minister. They will definitely teach him a lesson in the next elections.”
Claiming that BRS meeting in Khammam was an utter flop, Sanjay said, “People were only interested in watching the cricket match between India and New Zealand and no one bothered about the Khammam meeting. People were forced to attend the meeting.”
Sanjay alleged that leaders from other states invited to the meeting were involved in scams. “One is involved in a gold scam and another in a liquor scam. One CM has come here take his share in the liquor scam,” Sanjay claimed.
The Karimnagar MP said that none of the leaders who attended the meeting will come again. “In fact, in Delhi assembly, Arvind Kejriwal says next time AAP government will be formed at the Centre. He did not speak anything on BRS.”
Taking a dig at Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav, who was also present at the Khammam meeting, Sanjay said, “SP leaders threw the bill papers on reservation for women in Parliament. And KCR is talking about reservation for women. He should first tell how many he has taken in his cabinet. For the CM, only his daughter is a capable woman.”
Sanjay also criticised the CM for ridiculing the ‘Make in India’ mission. “He should not forget that India produced Covid-19 vaccine and it was sent across the globe. Even the ‘Vande Bharat’ train launched from Secunderabad has coaches manufactured here.”
