TCS reports 5.21% rise in Q1 net profit
NEW DELHI: India’s largest software services firm Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) on Friday reported 5.21 per cent rise in its consolidated net profit for the first quarter (Q1) ended June 30.
Kicking off the Q1 earnings seasons for financial year 2022-23, the company posted a net profit of Rs 9,478 crore as against a profit of Rs 9,008 crore reported in same quarter last year.
The consolidated revenue from operations increased 16.2 per cent year-on-year to Rs 52,758 crore in the period under consideration.
TCS has declared an interim dividend of Rs 8 per equity share of Re 1 each.
