Task force sleuths arrest 2 burglars, gold & bikes worth Rs 50 lakh seized in Hyderabad | Hyderabad News
HYDERABAD: Task force sleuths arrested two burglars, M Anil Kumar, 31, and I Gopi, 34, from Andhra Pradesh at Malakpet on Friday. The accused were involved in two burglaries and two vehicle thefts at Malakpet in the city; Subedari inWarangal; in Visakhapatnam and Narsipatnam in AP.
Police recovered 690gm of gold and two bikes, all worth ₹50 lakh from their possession. Receiver of stolen property P Karthik, from Boduppal, is on the run.
According to East Zone DCP Sunil Dutt, the accused would target houses in posh colonies and approach the houses on stolen vehicles. After committing theft, they would abandon the stolen bike at some distance and then spend time in different cities to evade police dragnet. Accused were handed over to Malakpet police for probe.
