T Sees 28 Covid Cases, 25 In Hyd | Hyderabad News
HYDERABAD: Telangana recorded 28 new Covid-19 cases on Sunday, of which 25 were in Hyderabad. The current positivity rate is 0.3 per cent.
The total count of cases recorded so far in the state stands at 7,92,599. The death toll stands at 4,111 on Sunday, as no death has been recorded for over two months.
A total of 44 patients were declared recovered, taking the total tally of recoveries so far to 7,88,080. Currently, there are 408 patients under treatment.
The recovery rate stands at 99.43 per cent while the fatality rate stands at 0.51 per cent. On Sunday, a total of 9,019 samples were tested. Telangana has now completed testing 3.48 crore samples and has reached 9.34 lakh sample testing per million population.
“It is important to complete vaccination by taking both doses and it is also equally important to adhere to precautions against Covid-19, including wearing a face mask and maintain physical distance,” advised the health department.
