Stock market update: Nifty Realty index advances 0.43%

Shares of Indiabulls Real Estate (up 11.36 per cent), Prestige Estates Projects (up 2.08 per cent), Hemisphere Properties India (up 1.74 per cent), Oberoi Realty (up 0.72 per cent) and DLF (up 0.14 per cent) ended the day as top gainers in the pack.

On the other hand, SOBHA (down 5.72 per cent), Brigade Enterprises (down 4.7 per cent), Godrej Properties (down 0.56 per cent) and Phoenix Mills (down 0.19 per cent) finished as the top losers of the day.

The Nifty Realty index closed 0.43 per cent up at 399.25.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index ended down 171.0 points at 15752.4, while the BSE Sensex stood down 586.66 points at 52553.4.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 8 ended in the green, while 42 closed in the red.

Shares of Vodafone Idea, NALCO, YES Bank, Ibull Real Estate and Tata Power were among the most traded shares on the NSE.

Shares of G R Infraprojects Ltd., Clean Science & Technology Ltd., Pearl Global, Archies Ltd and Datamatics Glob hit their fresh 52-week highs in today’s trade, while Walpar Nutritions Ltd., AKG Exim Ltd., Suryoday Small Finance Bank Ltd. and OCL Iron Steel hit their fresh 52-week lows.
