The grand old party will launch ‘Sirf Congress‘, a strategic campaign to reach out to Muslim religious scholars, imams, heads and members of Jamaat-e-Islami, Jamiat Ulema, advocates, teachers and intellectual associations who enjoy considerable influence in the community.

“We are going to explain to them how Congress took care of the minorities and the welfare schemes implemented by it. The strategic campaign is aimed at convincing the religious scholars, imams and others, who enjoy the confidence of Muslims. The Congress leaders, including A Revanth Reddy, Bhatti Vikramarka, N Uttam Kumar Reddy, Mohammed Ali Shabbir, T Jayaprakash ‘Jagga’ Reddy, would try and explain to them how BRS president and chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has taken the minority community for a ride.
Congress would also raise the issue of the threat from BJP and Sangh Parivar forces to the minorities.
