PV Narasimha Rao’s grandson among 12 in Supreme Court list for Telangana high court judges | Hyderabad News
They will be sworn in as HC judges after notification by the central government.

The apex court recommended the names of advocates NV Shravan Kumar, K Surender, Chada Vijaya Bhaskar Reddy, Surepalli Nanda, Mummineni Sudheer Kumar, Juvvadi Srideviand Mirza Safiulla Baig from the bar.
N V Shravan Kumar happens to be the son of Narasimha Rao’s eldest daughter Sarada Devi. When Shravan Kumar got married in March 1996 at Imperial Gardens in Secunderabad, PV as PM received all the guests and was present throughout. Shravan, who maintained a low profile and never wore these family tags said his grandfather is his main inspiration.
“Society gives us so many things. We have to repay it. I observed this philosophy in my grandfather during his long political career. In fact, he was the health minister of the state when I had born in 1967,” Shravan Kumar told TOI. “I will strive to fulfill that principle of paying back to society, Shravan added.
K Surender will be the second person to become a judge after representing CBI in the high court in the recent past after P Keshava Rao, who was the first to do so. Surender single-handedly conducted the prosecution in the Satyam Scam after dealing with the voluminous documents running into lakhs of pages produced by CBI.
He later represented CBI and NIA at the high court and dealt with several high-profile cases. The Supreme Court collegium also cleared the names of district judges G Anupama Chakravarthy, MG Priyadarshini, Sambasivarao Naidu, A Santosh Reddy, and Dr D Nagarjun from the bench.
