Police seize 96kg ganja in Andhra Pradesh’s Chittoor district | Amaravati News
TIRUPATI: Palamaner police in Chittoor district of Andhra Pradesh intercepted a ganja consignment and arrested three persons near the Bangarupalyam toll plaza on Tuesday.
According to deputy SP N Sudhakar Reddy, police conducted vehicular checks at the toll plaza near Mahasamudram village on Tuesday. They confiscated 96kg of ganja worth around Rs 10 lakh from a vehicle at the toll plaza.
Police arrested two people hailing from Kerala and a person from Tamil Nadu in connection with the case, and the police have laid a hunt for one more accused who managed to flee.
MN Abdul Jaleel (35) from Coimbatore in Tamil Nadu along with NP Muralidharan (37) and K Abhilash (33) from Calicut were the accused arrested by the police.
