HYDERABAD: The All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen president and Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi on Friday said Muslims and other oppressed sections of society will not get scared or withdraw, but would stand with patience and courage, within the ambit of law, against perpetrators of violence.
Referring to instances of violence in several states, Owaisi called upon people not to lose heart. “Do not fear death, but confront them with patience and wait for the Almighty to provide a solution. It is your patience, determination and courage that will ultimately prevail against their unjustified might and power,” he added.
The Hyderabad MP added, “I am not trying to instigate you by delivering emotional speech. I am saying all this with a smile on my face. Do not misunderstand me. Do not withdraw from the ground. Confront them as per law, but have patience to reap fruits of it in the long run. ”
He was speaking from Mecca Masjid in Old City after the Jumatul vida zohar prayers, the last Friday of Ramzan. Owaisi got emotional while narrating an incident of courage during the time of The Prophet and appealed to Muslims to take it as an example.
After the instances of demolition of houses, Owaisi said that he is getting calls every day about injustice happening to Muslims.
“People call me and tell me that their houses, shops are being demolished. Some of them say that their family members have been beaten up and others say they are concerned over rising atrocities. A few of them say they are worried and even scared. I am saying no need to panic,” he said.
