Marico Share Price: Marico shares drop 0.04% as Sensex rises

Shares of the Ltd. traded at Rs 459.65 on BSE at 01:14PM (IST) on Monday, down 0.04 per cent. The stock quoted a 52-week low price of Rs 311.0 and a high of Rs 488.0.

Earlier in the day, the stock saw a gap up opening.

At the prevailing price, the stock traded at 50.71 times its trailing 12-month EPS of Rs 9.07 per share and 11.73 times its book value, as per BSE data.

A total of 35,738 shares changed hands on the counter till 01:14PM (IST). The stock commands a market value of Rs 59382.73 crore and is part of the Personal Care industry.

The scrip has been an underperformer , up 45.11 per cent in the past one year in comparison with a 58.46 per cent gain in Sensex.

During the day, the stock moved between Rs 463.25 and Rs 458.6.

Promoters held 59.47 per cent in the company as of 31-Mar-2021. FII and MF ownership in Marico Ltd. stood at 24.04 per cent and 2.0 per cent, respectively.
