Congress pledging prime land for funds: KTR
BRS working president KT Rama Rao

HYDERABAD: BRS working president KT Rama Rao on Wednesday alleged that the Congress govt was trying to pledge 400 acres of industrial land in the state worth ₹20,000 crore to the finance companies for mobilising ₹10,000 crore in funds.
Taking to X, KTR said that the Revanth-led govt has even engaged a merchant banker and is ready to pay him ₹100 crore as commission, claiming that the same was reported in media.
“Chief minister A Revanth Reddy, who cannot run the govt and manage state finances has now chosen a dangerous path to mobilise funds,” KTR said on X.
He said the govt was pledging the lands located in prime areas like Kokapet and Raidurg, where many companies are keen on investing. “This will further slow down the industrial growth and impact the investments to the state,” KTR said. If industrial lands are mortgaged, how will unemployed youth get jobs without industries, he asked.
