The main accused was arrested in the past for eloping with the victim and marrying her when she was a minor.

The incident happened at Moodapally village in Chandurthi mandal of Rajanna Sircilla district.
At 5.30am on Tuesday when the 18 year old girl along with her father went to Hanuman temple in the village, four people came in a car and waited outside. One of them forced the girl into the car even while she was trying to escape, while the others pushed away her father and fled from the spot in the car along with the girl.
Based on the CCTV visuals, police identified the main accused as the girl’s former lover from the village.
A manhunt has been launched to nab the accused.
