Biocon Ltd. rises 1.24% as Sensex climbs

The stock of Biocon Ltd. commanded a market value of Rs 49212.0 crore, according to BSE.

The stock traded at a price-to-earning (P/E) multiple of 80.58, while the price-to-book value ratio stood at 4.84. Return on equity (ROE) was at 11.15 per cent, according to exchange data.

In the BSE500 pack, 365 stocks traded in the green, while 135 stocks were in the red.

The stock’s beta value, which measures volatility in relation to the broader market, stood at 0.98.

Promotor/FII Holding

Promoters held 39.75 per cent in Biocon Ltd. as of 31-Dec-2020 while overseas and domestic institutional investors owned 17.65 per cent and 3.05 per cent, respectively.
