Andhra Pradesh CM Jagan Mohan Reddy set to lay foundation stone of Rs 900-crore developmental works | Amaravati News

NARSIPATNAM: Andhra Pradesh chief minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy would lay the foundation stones for around Rs 900-crore developmental works in the Narsipatnam assembly constituency on Friday.
More than 1,250 police personnel, including anti-Naxal force Greyhounds and special parties from the armed reserve, have been pressed into action by the district police officials.
Narsipatnam town is the gateway to the Visakha tribal area, which was once a hotbed for naxal activities, hence the Anakapalli district police team has taken up full security measures.
“We have taken up area domination, erected barricades besides other measures. There are no restrictions on the public as all shops in the town and the four-kilometre stretch from the helipad to the public meeting venue would be open even while the CM’s convoy passes through the route,” Anakapalli SP Gautami Sali told TOI.
District collector Ravi Pattan Shetty said that CM would unveil pylons of Rs 500 crore construction works of a medical college on 52 acres at Bheemaboyinapalem in Makavarapalem mandal, Rs 470 crore works of Tandava-Yeleru lift irrigation project and Rs 16.60 crore road extension works in Narsipatnam Municipality.
Reddy would leave Tadepalli at around 9am and reach Balighattam helipad at around 10.25am.
The helipad to the public meeting venue at Jogunadhunipalem, around 4.2 km, would go by road.
He would address the public for 45 minutes to one hour and would leave the town at around 1.25pm and reach Tadepalli at 3.05pm.
