Amitabh Bachchan Found The Perfect Throwback Pic For Backstory On His Nickname
The award for the best throwback post goes to Amitabh Bachchan. The veteran actor has shared a blast-from-the-past moment on Instagram. In the pic, he is sitting on a camel. The photo was clicked on the sets of Reshma aur Shera, which was released in 1971. Location: Pochina, Jaisalmer. Wondering what is so special about the picture? Big B has explained it in the caption. Referring to his height, Amitabh Bachchan wrote, “When I came to join films in 1969 all of them used to call me Unnt [Camel]! So, I thought I would justify that and mounted one [ROFL emoji].” Sharing details about the photo, he added, “This is from my 2nd film Reshma aur Shera … location Pochina, miles into the desert beyond Jaisalmer.” The actor concluded, “Now fortunately they don’t call me that … the titled epithet has been usurped by several others.”

The Bollywood legend was invited as chief guest to inaugurate the high-octane encounter. He also met Neymar, Kylian Mbappe, Lionel Messi, and Cristiano Ronaldo, among others. Along with the set of pictures and video, Amitabh Bachchan wrote, “An evening in Riyadh…What an evening … Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi, [Kylian] Mbappe, and Neymar are all playing together. And, yours truly invited as guest to inaugurate the game. PSG vs Riyadh Seasons. Incredible!”
Amitabh Bachchan was last seen in Sooraj Barjatya’s Uunchai. Anupam Kher, Boman Irani, Sarika, Danny Denzongpa, Parineeti Chopra and Neena Gupta were also part of the film.
Amitabh Bachchan will be next seen in Project K with Prabhas and Deepika Padukone. He will also share the screen space with Deepika Padukone in the Hindi remake of Anne Hathaway and Robert De Niro’s The Intern.
