Visakhapatnam-Secunderabad Vande Bharat Express train from January 16 | Visakhapatnam News


VISAKHAPATNAM: The Visakhapatnam-Secunderabad Vande Bharat Express train will be launched on January 15 at Secunderabad junction. The train would run for six days a week, except Sundays on Visakhapatnam-Vijayawada-Khammam- Secunderabad route.
The train is equipped with world-class passenger amenities and can run at high speed which will reduce journey time by 25% to 45%. This is the eighth Vande Bharat train in the country.
Train No. 20833 Visakhapatnam-Secunderabad Vande Bharat express will leave Visakhapatnam at 5.45am and will reach Secunderabad the same day at 2.15pm. In the return direction, train No. 20834 Secunderabad-Visakhapatnam Vande Bharat express will leave Secunderabad at 3pm and will reach Visakhapatnam at 11.30pm the same day.
Railway authorities said that these pair of trains will have stoppages at Rajahmundry, Vijayawada, Khammam and Warangal. The train has a composition of 16 coaches comprising Executive class chair car and Chair car.
However, on the inaugural day, train No 02844 Secunderabad-Visakhapatnam Vande Bharat special will run in open path timings.
The inaugural Vande Bharat special will leave Secunderabad at 10.30am and will reach Visakhapatnam at 8.45pm the same day. It will have stoppages at Charlapalli, Bhongir, Jangaon, Kazipet, Warangal, Mahbubabad, Dornakal, Khammam, Madhira, Kondapalli, Vijayawada, Nuzvid, Eluru, Tadepalligudem, Nidadavolu, Rajahmundry, Dwarapudi, Samalkot, Tuni, Anakapalle, Duvvada between Visakhapatnam and Secunderabad.
