HYDERABAD: Two real estate businessmen were shot dead by unknown persons on the outskirts of Hyderabad on Tuesday.
The deceased has been identified as Srinivas Reddy and his friend Raghavendra Reddy..
Srinivas Reddy and Raghavendra Reddy along with unknown persons went to Karnamguda in Ibrahimpatnam to discuss a real estate deal.
According to police, the other persons who were with the victims, shot at them from a close range.
“Srinivas Reddy died due to bullet injuries. Raghavendra Reddy. who suffered a single bullet injury succumbed during treatment. We are yet to identify who opened fire at the victims and the reasons for doing so,” Rachakonda commissioner Mahesh Bhagwat said.
Police are verifying the CCTV footage near the crime scene to zero in on the accused.
