Two held for MIM neta Syed Murtuza Ali Anas’s kin murder in Hyderabad | Hyderabad News
HYDERABAD: The Task Force sleuths on Monday apprehended two persons involved in murder of Syed Murtuza Ali Anas, nephew of AIMIM Lalitha Bagh corporator.
According to police, the accused Suleman Khan and Abdul Hamed Khan are cousins. One of their friends Junaid, was having rental dispute with a woman Ayesha Sultana. To make Ayesha vacate the place, the trio started harassing her, upon which she approached AIMIM corporator Ali Sharif to resolve the issue.
The corporator then called the trio to settle the matter. During the discussion, an argument broke out between his nephew Anas and the accused. A few days after the incident, Anas went to MeeSeva. Suleman, who was also at the spot entered into scuffle with Anas. Suleman planned to kill Anas at MeeSeva, but could not find him at the spot later.
On coming to know that Anas was at corporator’s office, Suleman and Hamad went there and picked up an argument, during which the duo slit the throat of Anas. The police apprehended the accused on Monday.
