telangana: 36 Of 47 Fresh Virus Cases In Hyderabad | Hyderabad News
HYDERABAD: Telangana recorded 47 new Covid-19 cases on Thursday, of which 36 were in Hyderabad. The current positivity rate is 0.3%.
The total count of cases recorded so far in the state stand to 7,92,757.
The death toll stands at 4,111 on Thursday, as no death was recorded for over two months now.
A total of 34 patients were declared recovered, taking the total tally of recoveries so far to 7,88,250. Currently there are 396 patients under treatment. The recovery rate currently stands at 99.43% while the fatality rate stands at 0.51%.
On Thursday, a total of 12,458 samples were tested. Telangana has now completed testing 3.48 crore samples and has reached 9.36 lakh sample testing per million population.
“It is important to complete vaccination by taking both doses and it is also equally important to adhere to precautions against Covid, including wearing a face mask and maintaining physical distance,” advised the Telangana health department officials .
