Shilpa Shetty Is Making The Most Of London Summer. See Post
Shilpa Shetty’s Monday morning post is just the right kind of motivation we need to beat our Blues. She has shared a video from the morning workout session. Well, Shilpa isn’t alone. The actress is, of course, joined by sister Shamita Shetty. Here, the Shetty sisters are performing a series of core-strengthening asanas. In her side note, Shilpa said, “Monday morning, and Tunki and Munki making the most of this holiday and the London summer!. Today’s agenda is Gatyatmak Uttanpadasana. It’s a fantastic core workout. What you see here is only a minute out of the 3 very long minutes we did it continuously. We could feel those abs for 4 days. Thanks for this Killer workout.”
Shilpa Shetty, highlighting the benefits of these exercises, said, “It is one of the best exercises for the lower abdomen because it tones and strengthens the pelvis, hips, legs, and also the perineum muscles. It is beneficial for women, as it improves the function of the reproductive organs and strengthens the walls of the uterus.”
“However, one shouldn’t practice this during pregnancy and menstruation. Also, anyone suffering from back pain, slip-disc, and the cervical issue must avoid it,” she added.
Before this, Shilpa Shetty spoke about another core strengthening asana – Gatyatmak Eka Pada Uttanasana Pawanmuktasana. This time too, she has Shamita Shetty by her side. And as per Shilpa, “Even if you’re in vacation mode, don’t take a detour from your “Fitness Road”.
She continued, “That’s my motivation to start my day (even if I’m on a holiday with a 3-times-a-week fitness routine). Today, it is core strengthening with the Gatyatmak Eka Pada Uttanasana Pawanmuktasana.
It helps improve the digestive system and is beneficial in controlling acidity, gases, and constipation. Following it up with Naukasana and some variations. It is one of the best asanas to strengthen the core because it is extremely beneficial for the liver, pancreas, and kidneys; and strengthens the muscles of the arms, thighs, and shoulders.”
Shilpa Shetty was last seen in Nikamma. The film, directed by Sabbir Khan, also stars Abhimanyu Dassani, Shirley Setia and Samir Soni in crucial roles.
