shah: Make ‘mission T’ Possible: Shah To Bjp Netas | Hyderabad News
HYDERABAD: Three aspirants are ready to fight from each constituency to take on the TRS in the coming assembly elections, the BJP state core committee said during an interaction with Union home minister Amit Shah on Saturday. Before heading for the public meeting at Tukkuguda, Shah met with party leaders at a private hotel near Shamshabad airport and gave them instructions on ‘Mission Telangana.’
Party sources said Shah had directed the state leaders to strengthen the party from the grassroots in order to win the elections. The leaders gave a presentation on the party’s growth in the last two years in Telangana.
Shah is believed to have sought feedback from leaders on the response to BJP state chief Bandi Sanjay’s padayatra and the current political situation in the state. The party leaders informed him of the criticism and social media war waged against the BJP as well as the ruling TRS’s allegations on his visit.
“He told us to respond to criticism locally and use social media strongly,” one of the leaders said. Party leaders also briefed him on the party’s constituency status and area-wise situation.
Party leaders also told the home minister that chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao is accusing the Centre of treating the state unfairly and not providing enough funds. However, Shah told them that no injustice was done to Telangana and that sufficient funds are being released to the state. He also told them to explore other options apart from padayatras to reach out to people. Shah confabulated with Union minister G Kishan Reddy, Telangana BJP affairs incharge Tarun Chug and senior leader Vijayashanti separately. Sanjay did not attend the meeting as he arrived at the public meeting venue directly.
