Sarada Peetham celebrations begin, AP CM to visit on Saturday | Visakhapatnam News


VISAKHAPATNAM: The seer of Sarada Peetham Swamy Swaroopananda said that the Peetham has not been set up with the property of ancestors. It was built with the energy of Upasana, which is not available in books. He said that his Peetham is strongest among the peethams in India and many people including former Prime Minister PV Narasimha Rao witnessed its power.
AP Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy would visit the Peetham on Saturday and participate in Raja Syamala Yagam.
Swamy Swaroopananda and Swamy Swatmananda initiated the Raja Syamala Yagam in the Peetham and also meetings of Aagama sastra and Chaturveda Havanam by the TTD. The 5-day annual celebrations of the Sarada Peetham started on Friday with Maha Ganapati Pooja and also Raja Syamala Yagam.
As part of the celebrations, Chattada Vaishnava Aagama Sadassu was organized. Seer Swaroopananda said that Aagama procedures are being implemented in good manner in Tamil Nadu and there were no procedures in North India. There are Aagama procedures in AP but a lack of awareness among the priests about implementation, he alleged.
AP CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy would visit the Peetham on Friday morning at 11am while the Punjab governor Banwar Lal Purohit would visit the Peetham at 9.30am. The Tamil Nadu governor Ravindra Narayana would also participate in poojas at 6.30pm and would make a night stay in Peetham. YS Jagan would participate in special poojas of Goddess Raja Syamala and other poojas. He would visit the Raja Syamala Yagam Yagasala and also participate in Chaturveda Havanam.
According to Swamy Swaroopananda, the chief minister YS Jagan has been visiting Sarada Peetham since 2015 and is also participating in Raja Syamala Yagam for the ninth time and fourth time as a chief minister.
