REC share price: REC shares decline 0.54% as Sensex climbs

The scrip quoted a 52-week low price of Rs 91.9 and a high of Rs 167.75.

Earlier, shares of the company saw a gap up opening in the morning.

A total of 95,901 lakh shares changed hands on the counter till 12:29PM (IST).

The stock of REC Ltd. commands a market value of Rs 29060.92 crore.

The stock traded at a price-to-earning (P/E) multiple of 3.47, while the price-to-book value ratio stood at 0.5. Return on equity (ROE) was at 14.04 per cent, according to exchange data.

In the BSE500 pack, 409 stocks traded in the green, while 91 stocks were in the red.

Promotor Holding

Promoters held 52.63 per cent in the REC Ltd. as of 31-Mar-2021 while foreign and domestic institutional investors owned 26.75 per cent and 12.28 per cent, respectively.
