Police recover lost gold ornaments worth Rs 5 lakh within 48 hours in Andhra Pradesh’s Jammalamadugu | Amaravati News
TIRUPATI: The Jammalamadugu police‘s swift action helped the victims in safely retrieving back their lost gold ornaments worth Rs.5 lakh.
According to the Jammalamadugu police in YSR district, a young couple who went shopping in the town about two days ago, lost a bag accidentally. The bag contained gold ornaments weighing 110 grams and worth approximately Rs.5 lakh.
Following a complaint lodged by the victim identified as Chandrasdkhar, a resident of Moragudi village, Jammalamadugu CI U Sadasivaiah and his team took the help of the local jewellers association and also analyzed the available CCTV footage and found the bag within 48 hours after the complaint was lodged.
Chandrasekhar thanked the Jammalamadugu police for safely recovering his gold ornaments and returning back to his custody.
