nris: Nris Keen To Set Up Units In Nzb It Hub | Hyderabad News
HYDERABAD: Non-resident Indians from the US have shown interest to set up IT companies in the IT hub that is coming in Nizamabad. Representatives of the companies who took stock of the infrastructure will return to the US and explain about it in various business associations and federations in the US.
The NRIs landed in Nizamabad consequent to the visit of IT minister KT Rama Rao to the US. The NRIs team was led by Vitel Global CEO Praveen Andapally, who hails from Telangana.
“We also discussed the skill training that will have to be given to prospective employees as they have to be nurtured according to the needs of the specific companies and their work,” Nizamabad urban MLA and TRS NRI co-ordinator Ganesh Bigala said.
Members of ITServe Alliance from the US were given a briefing about the facilities and infrastructure at the IT hub, which is coming up at a cost of ₹50 crore.
“While we do have the necessary infrastructure, what is also important is skill training for those who will be provided jobs in the companies that will be set up here,” said Mahesh. For this purpose, a meeting was organised involving Kakatiya University vice-chancellor Ravindar Gupta and representatives of local colleges.
Kakatiya Sandbox will provide guidance in imparting the necessary skills that are required to students to easily fit into the jobs they will be doing. Representatives of six colleges were also present at the meeting on April 22 which was also attended by Munish Jaiswal of Kakatiya Sandbox.
“Language skills are important. Students who are graduating out of colleges will be given coaching in English language skills that will suit their job requirement,” Mahesa said. The training will begin in batches. To start with, it is planned to train 200 students and scale it up to 1,000 or more depending on the requirement.
