First woman SHO for law and order police station in Hyderabad | Hyderabad News
HYDERABAD: Inspector Madhulatha became the first woman to head a law and order police station in Hyderabad.
On the Women’s Day, Madhulatha took charge as SHO of Lalaguda police station in the north zone of Hyderabad commissionerate in the presence of home minister Mahmood Ali and police commissioner CV Anand.
Police commissioner Anand made an announcement few days ago about posting a woman officer as SHO for law and order PS.
The latest move seems to be only the beginning of government’s efforts to increase the number of women officers in law order posts and commissioner Anand said that on women’s day a special screening of Telugu movie Bheemla Naik has been arranged exclusively for women cops.
