Devotees throng Vaishnav temples in Andhra Pradesh | Visakhapatnam News

VISAKHAPATNAM: Thousands of devotees thronged the Vaishnava temples across the North Andhra districts for the Uttara Dwara Darshan of lord Vishnu. On the occasion of Mukkoti Ekadashi, devotees offered special poojas at shrines of various incarnations of lord Vishnu.
The temples at lord Surya Bhagavan in Arasavalli and lord Vishnu in Matshyavatar in Sri Kurmam, besides Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy temple on the banks of Nagavali River of Srikakulam, TTD temple on Rushikonda hill, Vaibhava Venkateswara temple in Muralinagar, lord Venkateswara temple on Pendurthi hill, Port Venkateswara Swamy temple, Yembar Mannar Temple and Iscon temple in the port city, besides Upamaka Venkateswara temple wore a busy look from early hours of Monday with hundreds of devotees for Uttara Dwara Darshanam.
More than 30,000 devotees visited Simhachalam temple alone and hundreds of devotees to various temples. The seer of Sarada Peetham Swamy Swaroopananda visited the Simhachalam temple and offered prayers. The planning of the cops led by new DCP K Ananda Reddy did not give any room for untoward incidents in Simhachalam temple.
