Budget Session: Telangana governor addresses joint session of houses | Hyderabad News
HYDERABAD: After 2020 governor Tamilisai Sounderajan delivered a budget speech to the joint meeting of houses on Friday.
Through the 21-page English document, she spoke about how Telangana evolved into a role model for the country, highlighting various aspects of the BRS government initiatives.
From Rythu Bandhu to the IT sector, the government’s bright side was showcased.
Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao accompanied the dias along with the speaker of the assembly Srinivas Reddy and council speaker Gutta Sukehnder Reddy.
The speech was delivered within 30 minutes. The house will meet on Saturday to thank her speech.
State budget for 2023- 23 will be introduced on Monday.
