Bhiwani: Bhiwani Killings Targeted Against Muslims: Owaisi | Hyderabad News

HYDERABAD: The murder of two Muslim men in Haryana was part of the organised targeted violence being unleashed against the community, AIMIM president Asaduddin Owaisi said on on Friday.
The two men, Nasir (25) and Junaid (35), residents of Ghatmeeka village in Bharatpur district of Rajasthan, were allegedly abducted on Wednesday and their charred skeletal remains found in the burnt Bolero in Loharu in Bhiwani on Thursday morning. Their families in the complaint to the police said the people who abducted them are from Bajrang Dal.
Terming the Bhiwani incident as ‘inhuman’, Owaisi alleged that these so-called ‘gau rakshak’ gangs were operating like terrorists under the patronage of the BJP and RSS. He said that BJP was actively promoting such radicalised elements who in the garb of being ‘gau-rakshaks’ were killing people and indulging in extortion.
While urging the BJP government at the Centre and Haryana to not protect such elements, he said that such groups have the support of RSS and their affiliated organisations. That is what emboldens them, they are no longer fringe but have become mainstream, he said.
The day BJP stops promoting them and starts acting against them, this will stop, he said. “Will PM Narendra Modi and Union minister Amit Shah speak about this incident or silently support such criminals?” Owaisi asked, adding that one Monu named in the incident is patronised by the BJP in Haryana.
“The gang puts out videos of violence on YouTube and earns money from it. They have patronage. Why isn’t the Haryana government arresting the accused? Are they from a terrorist organisation to have weapons? They target Muslims in the name of ‘gau raksha’. There are videos of them firing bullets and chasing people,” he said.
