Auto driver killed, body stuffed in bag, wife held in Hyderabad | Hyderabad News

HYDERABAD: Two days after the body of a 26-year-old auto driver was found stuffed in a gunny bag in front of his house at Jeedimetla, police apprehended his wife and a few others on Wednesday.
On February 6 morning, body of K Suresh was found stuffed in a gunny bag in front of his house at Sanjay Gandhi Nagar in Shapurnagar, Jeedimetla.
Family members of Suresh immediately informed the Jeedimetla police.
Renuka claimed that her husband left home the previous night at around 9.30 pm to buy curry and did not return. She told police that Suresh was killed by unidentified persons.
Later, Suresh’s brother Naresh lodged a complaint with police alleging that the family suspects Renuka’s role in the murder as she called them the previous night telling different versions about Suresh leaving the home and not returning.
“She told me that he went out to buy curry and she told my sister that he went out to buy flowers,” Naresh said before police.
After the autopsy, police were informed by the forensic experts that Suresh was strangled to death.
Police spoke to the family members of Suresh who informed them that he fell in love with Renuka, a vegetable vendor, and married her in 2016.
The family alleged that Renuka has been addicted to liquor and to meet her daily expenses, she often used to spend intimate time with men whom she meets in toddy compounds.
Suresh confronted her several times and warned her to mend her ways, Jeedimetla police said.
Cops took Renuka and a few other suspects into custody on suspicion that they might have killed Suresh.
A murder case was registered under section 302 of the IPC.
