narendra modi: KT Rama Rao questions PM Narendra Modi on 16 lakh vacancies in central govt departments | Hyderabad News
HYDERABAD: TRS working president KT Rama Rao demanded the BJP government should take immediate steps to fill up 16 lakh vacancies in various central government departments. He said the BJP said it would fill up two crore jobs a year during the elections, and how many were filled and what is Telangana’s share in those two crore jobs.
In an open letter to prime minister Narendra Modi on Thursday, KTR posed some questions pertaining to recruitments and jobs demanding him to respond.
“During your earlier visits to Telangana, you just spoke sweet words and left. At least now we expect you to respond from the soil of Telangana on employment generation and recruitment to the youth of the country in central government departments,” KTR, who is also minister for IT and industries said in the letter. The letter is written by KTR as Modi will be attending the BJP national executive meeting to be held in Hyderabad in the first week of July.
“Your inefficient decisions and ineffective economic policies led to loss of jobs, instead of creating new employment opportunities in the country,” KTR said and added that the TRS government filled over 1,32,000 government jobs in the state. The government would soon fill up another one lakh jobs in various departments in the State. “Our TRS runs a government which believes in action and not in mere slogans and lip service,” KTR said.
The TRS working president sought to know from the PM on when the Centre fill up the 16 lakh job vacancies, what actions have been taken to create two crore jobs per year, how many promised two crore jobs per year were created or will be created for the youth of Telangana. He also said what the Centre says for the loss of employment opportunities caused due to selling of govt assets to private entities, and by privatizing govt sector units, the reservation policy in jobs would be removed. “What answers do you have for the SC, ST and BC youth who are being denied their jobs?,” KTR said.
On the ITIR, the working president asked Modi whether he has any answer on the demand to revive the Hyderabad ITIR project or give another special package as an alternative?
“On one hand, you make statements like sabka saat, sabka vikas. But on the other hand, your party leaders believe and act more on the lines of ‘sabko satyanash karo’. This attitude of yours is becoming a threat to the Indians not only in the country but outside the country as well. Due to this, the country is going backwards in development. As a result, crores of people are losing their jobs,” the minister said.
He said that the TRS would stand by the youth of the nation and fight for their jobs to be created by the Centre.
