Hyderabad: Flypast by IAF Suryakiran aerobatic team on April 2 | Hyderabad News

HYDERABAD: A flypast by IAF’s Suryakiran aerobatic team can be seen across the Hyderabad skies at different places on Friday.
This is being organised in connection with the celebration of 60 years of induction of the Chetak helicopter into the IAF.
Union defence minister Rajnath Singh will attend a programme hosted by the Air Force Station Hakimpet at the National Industrial Security Academy convention centre at Hakimpet on April 2.
“The Suryakiran Aerobatic Team of the Indian Air Force is the pride of the nation because of its professionalism and precision. The team, popularly known as the Ambassadors of the Indian Air Force, has the distinction of being amongst a handful of nine aircraft formation Aerobatic team in the world,” the ministry of defence said on Friday. The team flies the Hawk Mk132 aircraft which is licence manufactured in India by Hindustan Aeronautics Limited.

“The team other than exciting aerobatic displays, team also undertakes flypast across the country to inspire and motivate our youth,” the Ministry of defence said.
A final aerobatic display of the 2021-22 season will be at Hakimpet on April 3, 2022. The team whose motto is ‘Sadaiv Sarvottam’ (Always the Best) will do the flypast in the skies of Hyderabad on April 2, 2022. The flypast can be seen at different places including Air Force Academy, Dundigal, Hakimpet, Begumpet airport,
Hyderabad University, Golconda fort, National Police Academy, Falaknuma, Charminar and Hussainsagar lake between 1.09 pm and 1.30 pm.
