HYDERABAD: Telangana recorded 453 cases of Covid-19 on Thursday taking the total count of cases recorded so far in the state stand to 7,85,596. The death toll stands at 4,108 on Thursday, as no death was recorded.
A total of 1,380 patients were declared recovered, taking the total tally of recoveries so far to 7,74,742. Currently there are 6,746 patients under treatment. The recovery rate currently stands at 98.62 percent while the fatality rate stands at 0.52 percent. On Thursday, a total of 41,310 samples were tested. Telangana has now completed testing 3.31 crore samples and has reached 8.91 lakh sample testing per million population.
The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) recorded 134 new cases- the highest among districts, followed by 33 in Medchal Malkajgiri. Apart from the GHMC and its surroundings, districts which saw more cases include Nalgonda saw 18 cases, Mahabubangar saw 16 cases, Karimnagar saw 13 cases, Khammam 20 cases and Hanamkonda which saw 15 new cases.
