Motherson Sumi Share Price: Motherson Sumi shares gain 0.54% as Sensex rises

Shares of Systems Ltd. traded 0.54 per cent up at Rs 234.4 at 10:41AM (IST) on Friday, even as BSE benchmark Sensex gained 269.45 points to 51384.67. The stock had closed at Rs 233.15 in the previous session.

The stock quoted a 52-week high and 52-week low of Rs 248.45 and Rs 86.6, respectively.

As per BSE data, total traded volume on the counter till 10:41AM (IST) stood at 10:41AM shares with turnover at Rs 5.97 crore.

At the prevailing price, the stock trades at 145.52 times its trailing 12-month EPS of Rs 1.61 per share and 1.71 times its price-to-book value, the exchange data showed.

A higher P/E ratio shows investors are willing to pay a higher share price today because of growth expectations in the future. Price-to-book value indicates the inherent value of a company and is the measure of the price that investors are ready to pay even for no growth in the business.

The Beta value of the stock, which measures its volatility in relation to the broader market, stood at 1.59.

Shareholding Details

Promoters held 61.73 per cent stake in the company as of 31-Mar-2021, while FIIs owned 16.64 per cent and DIIs 13.42 per cent.
